About us

Our mission –

  • To create a bridge between Japan and the world, by facilitating and supporting personal, social and business relationships, services and networks, introducing and connecting Japanese and non-Japanese who are visiting, living in and conducting business between Japan and the rest of the world.
  • To assist Japanese and non-Japanese to learn from, understand and adjust to each other in smooth harmony.
  • To be a one-stop-shop and single point of contact for “all things Japan” to non-Japanese who are visiting, relocating to or doing business in Japan.

Nippon Bridge has been created as a solution for two distinct, but sometimes complimentary groups of Japan enthusiasts – those seeking to invest in and do business in the country – and those seeking to live here.

It has been our experience and belief that Japan has so much to offer to the world – both financially and as an amazing place to live – but those benefits often get “lost in translation” or seem inaccessible due to language, cultural and mindset gaps.

To address this issue, we have decided to create the perfect go-to bridge between Japan and the rest of the world – to become facilitators, instigators and proud ambassadors, offering all that Japan has to offer, to those who wish to be a part of its story.

Kiyoka Naruke

Partner & CEO

Born in Yokohama, Japan, Kiyoka attended college in Canada, studying tourism and travel management. After graduating, she then relocated to Korea, where she studied Korean and returned to Japan, to work in her family’s natural foods restaurant.

These experiences have enabled her to learn firsthand about business, personnel, and resource management.

Kiyoka has spent almost a decade in South-East Asia, collaborating with the consulate general of Japan and local government agencies, organizing events promoting Japanese culture, and working on diverse projects involving cross-border collaboration initiatives.

Following her experiences abroad, Kiyoka has acquired a passion for instigating cross-border business initiatives, facilitating institutional collaborations, and supporting individuals and families relocating to start their new lives overseas.
